oa South African Medical Journal - Report on 3,052 vaccinations with special reference to the value of repeated attempts

Abstract

Examination of the results of vaccination at two Military Camps, showed that 41 per cent. responded to their first vaccination, 20 per cent. of the remainder to their second, and 7 per cent. to their third. It is concluded that at least three separate attempts at vaccination should be made before a person is regarded as insusceptible to vaccination.
