The advantages of the first-aid application of sulphanilamide to wounds are mentioned. The method of application to the wounds of Natives injured on this mine is descriptionbed. A report of 125 cases so treated, with 125 controls, is given, with tabular illustrations. It is suggested that this method of treating wounds is worthy of a thorough trial.
