A number of cases of heat-stroke, presenting urinary symptoms of a wider variety and greater significance than is recorded by textbooks, have been observed. Following a brief review of the several clinical conditions caused principally by climatic heat, cases illustrating these urinary symptoms and their degrees of prominence in the general clinical picture are recorded in this paper. On the basis of these observations, it is emphasised that disturbances of micturition may provide the dominant part of the symptomatic picture; and it is suggested that a urinary syndrome be accorded a more prominent place in the classification of the symptomatology of heat-stroke.
