Abstract

*Based on work done while on the staff of the Department of Clinical Medicine, University of Cape Town. **Based on work done while on the staff of the Natal Education Department. The incidence of postural proteinuria has been shown to rise from approximately I: 3 in the 6-9 year age group to approximately 3: 4 in the 14-16year age period and then to fall away to approximately 1 : 10 in old men. No correlation has been found between postural proteinuria and sthenic or asthenic build. No correlation has been found between postural proteinuria and the state of nutrition.
