An investigation of a group of exposed and infected lead workers is descriptionbed. It is suggested that by use of a routine urine test it is possible to diagnose a condition of 'pre-plumbism in the exposed. worker. It is suggested that there is a possible relationship between fat or fat-associated substances and the clinical signs of lead intoxication.
