Abstract

In general practice, electrocardiography is a useful and necessary means of arriving at a correct diagnosis in cases of myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, acute myocardial insufficiency, pulmonary embolism, pericarditis, abnormal cardiac rhythm, certain drug intoxications, myocarditis, congenital heart disease, heart block abnormal atrio-ventricular conduction, metabolic diseases and other conditions.
