Abstract

Relapsing fever transmitted by the Ornithodorus moubata tick occurs mainly in the northern and eastern parts of the Union of South Africa bordering the countries where the disease is endemic, and also in the semi-arid central regions through Kimberley and Graaff-Reinet.
