From experience of dealing with urological problems of about 500 cases of spinal cord injuries seen between November 1963 and November 1968 at the Spinal Cord Injury Centre at Conradie Hospital, Pinelands, Cape, it has been found that an upper motor neurone bladder results in about 80% of the total new admissions.
