Abstract

Seeing that a doctor's prescription for medicaments for contraception, or the spacing of pregnancies, at the request of a married woman, falls within the sphere of reasonable medical attention without the consent of her husband, it is not really necessary that the doctor should obtain the husband's permission beforehand for such a prescription.
