Abstract

A current, widely used classification of the malignant lymphomas is that of Rappaport which emphasizes the predominant cell of origin of the lymphoma. In a survey of cases seen in this Department from 1965 to 1969 inclusive, lymphocytic lymphomas were found to be the most frequent, followed by Hodgkin's disease, reticulum cell lymphomas, and mixed cell lymphomas.
