All four of the known varieties of L. dinlari Schwant., including the new one descriptionbed here, occur in close proximity to the Orange River, i.e. within 30 km (about 20 miles) to the north or south, along the section where, between Onseepkans and the Richtersveld, it flows almost directly from east to west.
