Victory for children's rights The Pretoria High Court handed down a groundbreaking decision in June which gives children a voice in matters with a direct bearing on their lives, opening a door for them to enter into litigation without first obtaining the permission of their parents. The court ruled that two teenagers may join as parties in a legal dispute regarding their divorced father's right to have access to them.
