T Corporate citizenship: a conceptual model for business Claudia Appels (left) and Lisette van Duin both have masters degrees from The Netherlands and worked on a conceptual model to systematically describe the organisation of corporate citizenship enterprises. The authors are continuing their research at the School of Management, Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. There is a movement going on out there. Corporate citizenship has become an important 'trend' in management thinking. Its essence is developing to a focus not only on the economic side of doing business, but also to take into account its social and environmental considerations. ..
