Since the inception of the ABC in South Africa in 1947 a great deal of change has taken place not only in the communication industry but indeed within the ABC itself. Each of the 14 Boards under their respective Chairman / President have brought fresh yet evolutionary adaptations to this industry body. The current Board has without question faced the most challenging and simultaneously exciting period in memory.
