Abstract

As indications abound that international economic growth prospects may be weakening and that locally we're facing the likelihood of a further slowing of business growth, there are very real concerns for the future health of South African business, particularly in the small and medium-sized sector. Businesses - from the smallest to the biggest are under huge pressure. Now more than ever it's do or die for marketers and how they are engaging with an increasingly tough, financially-stretched consumer market to drive sales and profits.
