IMPERIAL moves people and business - that is our core offering, but over the years it has developed into a highly sophisticated set of services and products. Our local transport fleet travels half a billion kilometres per annum, and we transport 50 million tons p.a in Europe. We sell many makes of popular vehicles in South Africa. We have an insurance business that provides related financial services and we run call centres that stay in touch with our customers. We rent out one in every three cars in SA, and manufacture caravans, canopies and trailers. We also supply a significant amount of aftermarket vehicle parts through Midas. One of our contributions to the success of the FIFA World Cup 2010 was that we supplied and operated, through our Springbok Atlas brand, all the team buses and ensured that they were on time at every game.
