Abstract

Spin may be considered a four-letter word by some puritanical journalists, but the reality is that the media needs the public relations industry as much as PRs need the media.


This was the blunt reality that emerged at the Journal's marketing breakfast debate at Sandton's Michelangelo hotel on 10 March 2011, which sought to 'decode the dark art of public relations'.
