The thinking of Black Theology is well known to most of us by now. No further introduction is needed and the way in which different churches and theologians reacted to it makes it difficult to say anything new on this brand of theological thinking. Yet no one should therefore reckon that Black Theology can be declared defunct, sterile or fruitless. On the contrary, exponents thereof are convinced that the role of Black Theology in world history has still to be played.
