Abstract

Mr. Venter's article explains the change in the Moon's path as we see it as a result of the fact that the Moon's node retrogrades through 360� in the course of about 18.6 years while the plane of the orbit remains inclined to the ecliptic at a nearly constant value of 5� 9 '.
