Extracted from text ... news notes Differential photometry on SV Indii Bruce Dickson of the Johannesburg Centre has been carrying out photometry of the southern variable star SV Indii. His most recent observations are collected in the light curve shown here, which is a composite of 3 646 V-band observations made over a period of 15 days. The star, a W UMa type variable, is around 13th magnitude and lies near alpha Pavonis. "Note the fine ripple present on the top of the curve", he writes.
