In the first reported case study, the patients were clinically and biochemically euthyroid.1 It may present as a thyroid abscess in pulmonary TB patients.2 Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) is a useful diagnostic procedure although with a possible low yield of acid fast bacilli (AFB).
