Abstract

Earache or blocked ears are common complaints presenting in the pharmacy. A limited range of eardrops may be sold over-the counter,and particular care should be taken when advising on these. Diagnosis is best made by a doctor, and the patient should be referred if any doubt exists concerning the complaint.
