There are several topical antifungal creams available for the management of superficial fungal infections of the skin e.g. clotrimazole (e.g. Canesten(R)), bifonazole (e.g. Mycospor(R)), econazole (e.g. Pevaryl(R)) and miconazole (e.g. Daktarin(R)). Nystatin e.g. Mycostatin(R) cream is particularly suitable for infections caused by Candida spp.
