We are faced with medicines that are used in an unprescribed manner, e.g. chlorpheniramine and Sinucon(r) tablets are crushed and sniffed for a quick high, while DPH syrup is abused (unfortunately not only in prisons). MCC is a money-free prison; medicines, food, blankets, etc. are used among inmates as currency.
