Abstract

Management and leadership are not the same. Management is about coping with complexity. Leadership, by contrast, is about coping with change. Leaders have to innovate, not imitate. They must think "outside the box". South Africa is in need of effective and efficient leaders. The reason is because today's problems cannot be solved with yesterday's solutions.
