oa SA Pharmaceutical Journal - Piece of my mind : editorial comment
You know that I am cautious about mentioning my involvement in Pharmacy Council in the SAPJ. There are good reasons for this. As a Council member and as a PSSA employee, I have to walk a very narrow line. I need to be loyal and committed to both. I may not abuse my position in either organisation and there are times when I must maintain strict confidentiality. There cannot be any conflict of interest. If there is, I must recuse myself. Obviously, in both places I can share my knowledge and experience, and I believe this is beneficial to both organisations and particularly to pharmacists. The bottom line is that I must be objective and unbiased.
