Nidan : International Journal for Indian Studies
Nidan is an international journal which publishes contributions in the field of Hinduism, edited by Prof. P. Kumar (University of Kwa-Zulu Natal). Articles published in Nidan relate to any aspect of Hinduism. As such, the study of Hinduism is broadly conceived to include, not merely, the traditionally recognized areas within the discipline, but included contributions from scholars in other fields who seek to bring their particular worldviews and theories into dialogue with Hindu studies. For scholars of Hinduism in the Southern African region, Nidan is the only journal that has provided opportunities to publish their research. Many international scholars have also published in this journal over the years. Nidan has not only served the academic community, but also has been a useful reader for the community on various themes and topics on Hinduism and as such, it assisted in educating the community on their own traditions, practices and philosophies.

Skills at Work: Theory and Practice Journal
Published by the National Skills Research Agency (NASRA) and supported by the Graduate School of Business and Leadership (GSB&L) of the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN) and the Centre for Local and Economic Development (CENLED), University of Johannesburg (UJ).
This independent, interdisciplinary journal is dedicated specifically to skills development/vocational education and training and related areas, such as local economic development (LED) and entrepreneurship. These are emerging fields of research and knowledge in Southern Africa: therefore it is important to find ways of sharing theoretical perspectives, research findings and practitioner case studies, in order to build the body of knowledge, stimulate further debate and research and provide resources for teaching and learning.
Skills@Work aims to provide a forum for the publishing of scholarly articles, case studies and book reviews that are of interest and relevance to researchers and practitioners. A further aim is to provide an ongoing stimulus for learning and teaching in these fields, particularly for local graduate students and young researchers in academic institutions and research centres. Although the focus is primarily on South Africa, regional and international perspectives are also encouraged.
