Abstract

In all, species of tapeworm recorded from children in Rhodesia include Hymenolepls nana, H. diminuta, Taenia saginata, T. solium, Inermicapsifer madagascariensis and Dipylidium caninum. In African children, H. nana was the commonest species recorded while in European children, I. madagascariensis was the commonest species found.
