Abstract

Bilharziasis ranks .as one of .the most important endemIc diseases In Rhodesia and elsewhere in Africa because of its high prevalence, particularly In the AfrIcan population and because both the prevalence and the intensity of infection are increasing in most areas. This article deals with the patterns of transmission.
