Abstract

Twenty-three cases of Stevens-Johnson syndrome were studied. The study shows a high incidence in young male adults, most of whom had taken some drug, but six of the series denied having taken any medicine prior to the' attack. The disease is relatively benign responding well to steroid treatment and' antibiotics. Death occurred in one patient in the series. Some complications occur, but these are rare.
