Abstract

The classification and subtyping of acute leukaemia often appears to be based on somewhat arbitrary criteria, although recently introduced methods for identification of human �lymphocyte sub-populations by surface marker analysis and erythrocyte rosetting, have greatly improved the situation, especially with regard to the acute lymphoblastic leukaemias.
