Abstract

Bulawayo, in common with other urban centres in Rhodesia, has been experiencing an increase in the number of cases of venereal disease being treated in the municipal primary care clinics. Very little was known about the social characteristics of these patients and this small study was carried out at Khami Road Clinic - in order to obtain some social data and to compare the characteristics of first attenders with those of patients with repeated venereal infections.
