Abstract

One reads condemnatory literature on the evils of marijuana and. hashish written by people who have never smoked them or been admitted to a drug-taking cult. It therefore seems worthwhile to narrate my experiences of a hashish party. For many years my wife and I have tried to obtain access to the fraternity of drug addicts, because we wished to experience the effects of cannabis as smoked by habitues and the alleged atmosphere of tranquillity engendered by the drug; but we have until recently been fobbed off with unfulfilled promises. This article summarises the experience and discuss the different kinds of cannabis.
