Abstract

Psoriasis is a very common affliction, affecting some 2 to 3% of the population, yet its treatment is generally considered to be most unsatisfactory. This, however, need not be so. The most important factor in treatment is the constant recognition of the Koebner phenomenon. This phenomenon manifests itself in psoriatics. by the tendency of the skin to react, in a psoriasiform pattern, to chemical, physical or morbid trauma.
