In each .of these syndromes, clinical .picture, symptoms, timing of trauma, regression in play and methods of prevention or treatment all link up together to form a recognisable entity. We feel that the timing of the trauma is of paramount importance. As a cross check history taking and examinations were not always undertaken by the same practitioner. The correlations still held.
