Abstract

Neurosyphilis in the Zimbabwe African manifests itself in the typical forms of the disease descriptionbed elsewhere. These include hemiplegia, paraplegia and general paralysis of the insane. Tabes dorsalis and isolated cranial palsies are but rarely encountered. Those of syphilitic amyotrophy, Erb's spastic paraplegia and cervicalis, hypertrophic pachymeningitis were not encountered.
