Abstract

The sensitivity of various organisms against commonly prescribed antimicrobial agents often vary from place to place and the aim of this paper is to give clinicians a selected profile of the antibacterial activities of the most commonly prescribed antimicrobial agents. Four thousand and sixty eight stool samples and 2722 urine samples for culture were collected from male and female patients with genitourinary and abdominal complaints at Mutare General Hospital.
