Abstract

A retrospective study of 94 children admitted with Borrelia infection from January 1979 to December 1981 was done. The symptomatology, together with the outcome of these patients were analysed. A high index of suspicion by a practising physician in an endemic area is suggested. There is a need to improve the housing situation in the rural and periurban areas in the affected area.
