Abstract

Chronic bullous dermatosis of childhood (CBDC) is relatively the most common of the acquired chronic blistering diseases of childhood. We present two cases which show the typical clinical picture, histology and immunopathological findings. The importance of the presence of linear IgA deposits along the basement membrane zone is stressed and treatment discussed.
