Abstract

We wonder when revolutionaries accepted the Western consensus on terrorism, although some actions of freedom fighters can no doubt fit the general definition of terrorism, but since 9/11 the Western consensus is that all acts of self determination except those in the interest of Western society can be labeled terrorism. The supreme irony is that the violence of the West upon oppressed people is considered legitimate, especially when 500 pound bombs are dropped on people seeking to redress their grievances.
