Abstract

Kenya's president Mwai Kibaki's leadership appears headed for disaster. The government is tainted with accusations and allegations of corruption. And Kenyans have become disillusioned by a president who lacks the political willpower or the inclination to bite the bullet and carry out the radical surgery needed to rid his government of corrupt ministers and officials.
