Abstract

Dairy cows are very sensitive to heat stress, which has a significant economic impact for the farmer. Not only loss of productivity and milk quality, but also health related problems. Nutritional solutions that are available include probiotics, which can help preserve the cow's digestive health and milk productivity. Furthermore, because of the oxidative balance that is affected, it is very important to increase the anti-oxidant intake in order to preserve the cow's immunity.
