Abstract

If you want to achieve higher milk production per cow in 2008, you need Bealey ryegrass. Bealey is a new generation tetraploid perennial ryegrass that produces plenty of palatable high ME feed to improve per cow performance. The combination of high yield and excellent nutrition helps drive cow intake over spring and into summer, when milk production is at its peak. It also makes it much easier for you to manage Bealey pastures for optimum ME production, as it is of such high palatability that stock do not struggle to graze it low, even after it has lost some quality due to high growth rates in spring.
