Abstract

In the current economic climate, no farmer can afford to neglect the genetics in his dairy herd. An unproven bull introduced into a herd, can become the most expensive animal on the farm. The odds of his daughters being the cows that you want to milk are very long indeed. But you do not have to gamble when it comes to genetics.
