Production during the first eleven months of 2009 was 3,8% less than during the same period in 2008. Fewer dairy products were imported during January-October 2009 than during January-October 2008 (-16,6%). Exports decreased by 2% compared to the same period in 2008. Producer prices were marginally higher than during the same month in 2008. The department of agriculture's farm requisite price index for April 2009 was 1,4% higher than during April 2008.
