Abstract

Clinical signs of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) include a decrease in appetite, depression, fever, discharges from the eyes and nose, coughing and difficulty in breathing. The severity of these symptoms may differ from animal to animal and could be so subtle that farmers do not notice. However, the damage done in even these mild cases could have a significant impact on the future productivity of the animal.
