Abstract

Over the last several decades, climate change has gone from an abstract theory to something of which farmers all over the world now feel the effects. Production characteristics are changing in accordance with latitude and, in general, agriculture is becoming more difficult as the weather becomes more volatile and swings between extremes. The way farmers approach their management practices today will likely not be the same in 30 years' time.
