Abstract

Quality and value for money are not unreasonable expectations. However, it seems that acceptable service is now considered exceptional, only because shoddy service has become the norm. Poor service can be provided by anybody with whom you do business, even those who consider themselves immune to poor service, such as accountants, insurance brokers, financial consultants, veterinary suppliers, cleaning material suppliers and transport contractors. As a dairy farmer, you are expected to deliver a quality product to the consumer. In the same way, you also have the right to demand quality and value for money from your suppliers.
