Abstract

There is consensus that climate change will cause more frequent and more intense extreme weather events such as droughts, heat waves and flooding, which will directly impact agricultural production. However, two indirect effects of climate change should also be of concern to farmers - the potential overestimation of future food supplies, and carbon taxation.
