Abstract

In the previous edition of we looked at some of the aids and gadgets used when training a horse. Just to recap, a training aid is a piece of equipment used to develop a well-schooled horse to improve his performance, whereas a gadget is a piece of equipment which prevents or restrains an aspect of a horse's behaviour which makes him difficult or dangerous to ride.
